I am a conservative and I recycle.
I’m a conservative & I’m kind to animals. Just because we are conservatives doesn’t mean we don’t (I know, double negative) care about our environment or things outside ourselves. But i for one don’t like that failure to do certain things becomes breaking the law. If I don’t want insurance, I still have to pay for it. If I don’t want to support gay marriage, I can still be fired if somebody decides I have created a hostile workplace environment, simply because I don’t agree. Being conservative doesn’t mean you’re disagreeable, just that you have standards that are not compliant with liberals. My opinion only.
So am I. But I don’t look at recycling as “saving the planet” as the limp-wristed liberals do, rather I see it as reusing valuable resources.
I was joking, kind of like an AA meeting. The liberal classroom has a recycling symbol on the board. I am teaching my daughter to recycle because I am an avi outdoorsmans and I do not want my enviornment destroyed.
I remember back in middle school when Obama was running for his first term and at least my teacher, don’t really remember if it was the entire school, but I was forced to make a design for the obama campaign poster as a graded assignment.
Just curious, but did anybody make a campaign poster that showed him in a negative light? Did any parents refuse to let their children participate? Because I really would have refused to let my child participate, or had him do a campaign poster for the other candidates as well. Something like that is definitely forcing political beliefs on children.
I’m not sure and I wish I could answer that for you. That’s been over 6 years ago and it’s really hard to remember. And like I said before, if I didn’t participate, they would have failed me.
